How it started...How it's going!

Well, this week was a BIG birthday - not sure how I went from being in my 20s in the 70s to turning 70 in the 20s!!!

I am beyond grateful for my wonderful life and good health - and thrilled about turning 70.  Getting older is a gift that not everybody gets to enjoy... and I am aware of how blessed I am.

So, there I was as a baby - 

and here I am 70 years later.  What a journey - from a small coal mining town to a beautiful retirement community!

How did I celebrate ?  Well - in a day we will be leaving on a Viking River Cruise to Germany, Czech Republic, and Poland as our celebration.  But before that - I used all my 

"birthday bonuses".
